Tall Bud Vase - Decorated with Glass Powders

This handblown glass vase is designed for a very short stem flower. It has got a small rim, so a flower sits nice and upright. It has got a very stable base, too. It sits perfect in a hall table or near window for catching light.

Patterns are created by a mixture of blue, green, black powdered glass is manipulated by hot flame with tools and also drawn and fused with a thin glass stringer like a pen with heat as well. When water goes into the vessel, there is a magnification effect that makes very interesting to look at.  A little world come alive!

This glass is fired in a high temperature, so it is tough. It is dishwasher safe. It travels well as it comes with a box.

top to bottom 9cm, widest 3.5cm, base 3cm.
